I promised you a whole year of giveaways, so it’s time for this month’s contest.
Let’s talk about sexual positions. If you believe the porn you watch, nobody does it missionary style anymore. It’s all doggy style, reverse cowgirl, and some crazy positions that don’t even have names but would most certainly put the average person in the emergency room. I’m not saying that I haven’t enjoyed exploring new positions, but over the years I’ve come to realize that my sexual preferences are pretty boring. I love the missionary position. Whether I’m with a man or a woman, I want that close, face to face contact. I want our chests pressed together. I want our pelvises to rub in that perfect way that brings me to orgasm with no help from a toy or hands. No, it’s not acrobatic, unusual, or kinky. It just feels so fucking good.

Although the missionary is certainly a favorite of mine as well, there is just something amazing about up against the wall. With the raw magnetism that you just have to have it NOW, mmmhhhmmmm….

Well of course porn isn’t anything like real lovemaking. After all, the goals are not at all the same. Lots of things that feel good do not provide much visual stimulation, and lots of things that look very erotic are actually pretty uncomfortable.
Anyway, my personal favorite is the spoon position. I like how nobody has to support their own weight, so you can go at any pace you choose without fighting gravity. I love the view, as I am always turned on by the curve of a woman’s shoulder and hip, and I like that my hands can freely roam from bosoms to nether regions. And as a nice bonus, it’s easy to collapse after an intense orgasm and cuddle.
Besides, how can you beat a simple, descriptive, and fun name like spoon?

I have a feeling my preferences are rather boring too… I do so love the feeling of a man’s weight on top of me in missionary. But I’m also a fan of him bending me over the arm of the couch.

I have to say it’s a toss-up between doggy and missionary for me. Both allow for variation in terms of location and posture (on the bed, half standing, in the kitchen, on the couch, in the shower…) and lend themselves to suit the intensity of the moment (languid, urgent, either partner dominating…). I’ve tried sideways but not found it very satisfying, maybe I’m just doing it the wrong way. What makes it spicier is for my gf and me to be talking to each other whilst doing it – like a verbal sexual track accompanying the physical one.
