Umm…so do you want to go out or not? This guy seems to be giving me props for what I wrote in my ad, but then disqualifies himself from my dating pool by suggesting that he doesn’t live close enough.
Come on, guys, do you really think an approach like this will grab my attention? Think of this as a job interview. You don’t tell a potential employer that you really like their company but don’t think you’re really qualified, do you? No! You go with your strong qualities, hope they don’t notice your weak ones, and let them know that you’d really like to get the job. Responses like this one are a waste of everyone’s time.
