I liked your ad, specifically what you’re considering in the open relationship, and you’re cute as well. Me? Swm, hwp, 6’2, green eyes, 38, staying in my home state for maybe a few more weeks then moving to L.A. If that’s still okay, good.

Some of you think I just use this space to make fun of poor, clueless, lonely guys (and, I’ll admit, that’s half the fun of it), but here is an example of a response that is actually good! He starts off by complimenting me and telling me about some of the things I said in my ad that sparked his interest. Then he goes on to tell me a little bit about himself. And he included a photo that wasn’t a cheesy Myspace Mirror shot and didn’t focus on his abs or cock.

I didn’t end up doing out with this guy because I don’t usually like to start dating people that are moving away soon, but I did reply to let him know I thought he seemed like a cool guy and wished him luck in L.A.
